Biodegradable
As you may know, we pride ourselves on using eco-friendly products and providing our customers with eco-friendly options. I have noticed a variety of sign businesses marketing certain products as eco-friendly or biodegradable, which prompted me to contact the manufacturer of these products. My thought was that if they are eco-friendly, I want my customers to know. I was told that they are not to be marketed as made from recyclable or being recyclable, because they do not have documentation to support that. Taking it even further, these products are made of Polyethylene, which is composed of long tightly-bonded molecules that cannot be broken down...ever. Polyethylene products are among the most important to recycle. I am disappointed that companies are misleading the consumer, so I wanted to take a moment to let you know that we will always be clear about which of our products are eco-friendly. The environment is important to us.
